Aditi Thakur

Aditi Thakur is a Research Assistant – Legal at the Centre for Child and the Law, National Law School of India University (NLSIU). She is currently engaged in the Right to Food programme, where she focuses on the implementation of the National Food Security Act, 2013, across various states. Her work involves collaborating with state governments and strengthening civil society through capacity-building initiatives.
Aditi received her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal, in 2021. She completed her LLM in Law and Development from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, in 2024.
She has previously worked on child rights issues across various districts of Bihar. She has also served as a Legal Consultant for FaMeTN (MSME Department, Government of Tamil Nadu).
Her research interests focus on how violence is institutionally sanctioned, examining the legal, political, and structural mechanisms that uphold systemic harm and exclusion.
